REUSABLE
ICE RINK LINER

THE EASY SHEET® - THE ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVE TO ICE PAINT; AN INVESTMENT THAT PAYS FOR ITSELF IN NO TIME!

Kevin Grumetza of Thorhild, AB has been a lifelong curler.  As a volunteer, he's helped with countless rink preparations at his local curling club and skating rink. He knew firsthand that putting the ice in means endless hours of preparation before the first puck can be dropped, or the first rock thrown. And people sometimes make mistakes leaving markings that aren't always accurate.

It was after a late night painting session that the part-time farmer came up with the idea of a printed rink liner.

"I thought, 'This isn't fun anymore. There has to be a better way.'" Kevin explains.

He first envisioned a gigantic roll of paper towel that could be rolled out across the floor. He knew it needed to be made of mesh so the water and cold could easily get through it. After a lengthly process, the Easy Sheet was born. Since 2006, Hack to Hack Solution Inc. and Goal to Goal Solution Inc. have been supplying customized, digitally-printed sheets to curling clubs and skating rinks around the world.

With the patented Easy Sheet, messy painting and the gruelling hours that come with painting the ice are ancient history. Installing the customized, digitally-printed liners result in HUGE savings each and every year. The savings are more than the annual cost of ice paint, its installation and removal. With the Easy Sheet, the brine temperatures need to be reset higher, saving on energy costs and extending the life of the refrigeration plant, too.

The quick setup of the Easy Sheet means you'll have your club members or user groups on the ice faster than ever before. And you won't have to contend with runny ice paint or dark ice paint migration spots ever again. Even if your plant goes down, the Easy Sheets can save the season because there is no paint in the ice, just water.

With the environmentally-friendly Easy Sheet, there's no more need for single-use ice paint. You won't have the ice paint disposal headaches you currently do at the end of each season to ensure it's disposed of properly. With the Easy Sheet, just dry it, roll it up, and store it until next year.

Why make making ice more complicated than it needs to be? Save valuable time and money with the Easy Sheet and let us change your world today!

elK POInT Curling Club customer testimonial

Tyler Warawa of the Elk Point Curling Club says:

"The ice has been superb. We have about 5/8" over the sheets. Ice is keen and true. Finally some real ice! With the ice being consistent and keen across all the sheets, our club members have loved the change. Also, our Junior and Senior teams will actually be able to learn the game properly, and have an even footing when going off to school, bonspiel and zone competitions."

Gordon Sampson, president of the Liverpool Curling Club, says:

“The energy savings was a bonus but it’s not the reason we decided to go with the Hack-to-Hack sheets,”

So... why did they go with Hack To Hack's reusable rink liners?

DeBolt & District Agriculture Society CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL

In the summer of 2006, I was contacted by Kevin Grumetza of Hack to Hack Solutions about the ''Easy Sheets'', a solution for reducing the costs of operating a Curling Rink facility.

During our discussions the initial costs of these sheets versus the long term benefits was discussed and the initial investment would be paid back many times over.

TODD REDMOND CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL

My name is Todd, I have installed over 300 sheets of curling ice over the last 17 years.  Which means lots of paints.  And lots of headaches.

My arms would be so sore after painting the white.  My back and knees were sore after the colors and then putting in the lines.

TOWN OF REDWATER CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL

A new cement floor was built for curling in Redwater this year and the Hack to Hack ice sheets were used.  Kevin assured us of the ease and suitability of the sheets and despite our best efforts to make them fail we couldn’t.  Our initial set up and preparation for freezing in the “easy sheets” took 11 minutes and we were able to curl within two days.

WASKATENAU CURLING CLUB CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL

On the twenty eighth or twenty ninth of January, our compressor blew a fuse which resulted in the brine pump continuing to circulate the brine.  It happened approximately at 1:00 am.  Our ice security system is a temp control sensor which activates a red beacon outside.  Unfortunately, I did not get an alarm call until 7:00 am of that morning.

St. paul curling club testimonial

The St. Paul Curling Club purchased six sheets of “Hack to Hack” liners for the 2014 -2015 season.  Our use of volunteer time to paint six sheets, seal them in and then paint circles, seal them in and finally get to flooding was becoming very demanding.  We felt that we were operating our plant for two weeks extra just to put in the ice, time which could have been spent curling.  October of 2015 was the first time we put the liners in without Kevin’s help.  We started at 10:00am and were flooding the same day.

ANDREW CURLING CLUB CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL

Our Club begins our season with a Green-spiel during the Grey Cup weekend.

We had problems with our refrigeration unit which was really delaying putting in our ice.  We finally flicked the switch on the ice plant on Tuesday night.
